Social Skills Groups

Making friends, understanding others, and feeling confident in social situations can be challenging, but you don’t have to go it alone. Our Social Skills Groups give children a safe, fun place to learn and practice the social skills that matter most.

Our social groups are for all learners looking to improve their social skills, build friendships, and enhance their confidence.

What your child will work on:

  • Making and keeping friendships- from small talk to sharing interests

  • Communication skills like initiating conversations, listening, and nonverbal cues

  • Handling things like conflict, misunderstandings, and social media safety

  • Building self-confidence in social settings

What these groups are like:

  • For learners ages 9-16, grouped by age so everyone feels comfortable and can relate to each other.

  • Offered in person and online, so you can choose what works for your family.

  • Led by experienced staff who guide games, discussions, and real-world practice.

What families can expect:

  • Regular updates on how your child is doing- what they’re doing well, and what we’re helping them with next

  • Simple, practical suggestions for what you can do at home to support what your child is working on

  • A welcoming community where your child and you feel supported and understood
